cabbagetown today

Since 1881, Cabbagetown has been an eclectic pocket of culture in the heart of Atlanta. What started as an Appalachian mill village has evolved into a quirky neighborhood for artists, activists, and entrepreneurs. In 1976, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

After 140 years, Cabbagetown is still a vibrant neighborhood, and I’ve been proud to call it home since 2016. I’ve curated this gallery from iPhone snapshots I’ve taken around the neighborhood over the last several years. Enjoy!

ATLANTA NEIGHBORHOOD MAP

This map gives a good idea of just how small Cabbagetown is compared to the other neighborhoods in Atlanta. Can you find it?
